At the time when the first images of the successor to the current smartphone HTC One from the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC were leaked, the first thing that surprised us was the presence of a double-camera on the back of the terminal. As was already suspected from the outset, it has just been confirmed that the dual-camera of the HTC One 2 will allow recording videos in 3D (that is, videos in three dimensions). But in addition to this function, the dual camera will also allow you to focus photographs once taken.
At the moment, the information related to the dual-camera of the HTC One 2 is quite limited given that it has been extracted from a promotional brochure. This brochure indicates that the Duo Camera (name corresponding to the dual-camera of the terminal) will allow you to take high-quality images even in low-light environments. The information related to the 3D option is not very specific, although it can be guessed that in addition to the three-dimensional videos, the user will also have the possibility of adding 3D effects to the images after taking the snapshots.
The most striking novelty of this double-camera resides in the option to modify the focus of a photograph once it has been taken. With this option, the user will have the possibility of making small adjustments to the images to eliminate any imperfections that may occur when taking a photograph from the mobile.
Leaving aside all these additional options, we have also learned that the camera of the HTC One 2 will incorporate a sensor to five megapixels. Although it seems a very limited data for a modern camera, we should not forget that the sensor will also be accompanied by technology UltraPixel, a novelty developed by HTC which allows squeezing in a much more optimal way every megapixel camera. Along with the camera we also have an LED flash that will help us improve the lighting of snapshots in dark environments.
The HTC One 2 is also being mentioned on the net under other names such as HTC M8 or All New HTC One, so let's be vigilant when reading these names since they all refer to the same HTC smartphone. For now it expected that this smartphone incorporates a screen five inches, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with four cores running at 2.3 GHz, 2 gigabytes of memory RAM and operating system Android in its latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Although there is no official confirmation, the estimated price of this terminal is expected to be around 550 euros. All the rumors indicate that we will have to wait until March 25 to attend the official presentation of the new HTC One that promises to stand up to competing manufacturers such as Samsung or Sony. During this presentation we will know data such as the final price and the launch date of this smartphone.
