The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated terminals of this year, there is no doubt about that. As the days go by, rumors, leaks and images continue to appear on the network. We already know that Samsung's flagship will not be presented at MWC, so the leaks and rumors will continue to rise. Today a new image has been leaked that claims that the camera of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will not protrude from the back cover. The company would thus solve one of the few complaints that users had with the design of the terminal in previous years.
It is still early to confirm the information that continues to arrive about the Samsung Galaxy S8, but it seems that the possible final aspect of the terminal is emerging. However, this information must be taken for what it is, rumors, as some even contradict what we have been seeing in recent weeks. If at the beginning you bet on a double camera solution to “follow fashion” , now the possibility that the Korean company keeps the single camera is gaining strength.
And speaking of the camera, today a new image has been leaked that ensures that the main camera lens will be completely flush with the rear housing. Precisely this aspect was one of the most criticized in the design of the Samsung Galaxy S6. And even in the Samsung Galaxy S7, although the company considerably reduced the height of the lens, as you can see in the image above. It is a leak that, although it is not safe, would be logical. We only have to see the design of the new terminals of the Samsung Galaxy A range, which offer a fully integrated rear lens.
Where it does seem that we will see an important evolution is in the front camera. Samsung seems to have realized the importance that users place on selfies , so it could put a much more powerful front camera on the Galaxy S8. It has already done so in the Galaxy A series.
Another of the great protagonists of the new terminal will be the screen. After several weeks in which it seemed that it was clear that the Galaxy S8 would only arrive with a curved version, a last video that appeared on the network seems to show a version with a flat screen. With curves or not, what does seem to take more strength is the possibility that we have two versions of the terminal. On the one hand we would have a model with a 5.7-inch screen. And, on the other hand, we would have a version with a 6.2-inch screen. Everything also seems to indicate that both will use a design with much narrower upper and lower frames than those of the current model.
This new design would force Samsung to make changes to the home button. Either you insert it inside the screen, or you place it on the back. As for the interior of the terminal, the usual is expected in the annual renewal of a smartphone. We will have a processor change, presumably to Exynos 8895; plus, most likely, an increase in RAM.
As we mentioned, the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will not see the light at the MWC in Barcelona this year. It seems that the Korean company could be preparing an event for the end of March or the beginning of April. At the moment there is no confirmed date.
