The Android Q beta 3 is now available for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Like all the test versions, and more the first ones, it contains errors and bugs, so its installation is recommended to developers who need to test their applications before of the arrival of the final version. In any case, if you take the risks and want to have the third beta of Android Q, you should know that you can register the following problems.
OnePlus has shared a small list of all the errors that users could run into if they decide to install this beta. One of them is related to the screen. Apparently the smart system that automatically regulates how bright or dim we like the panel to look under certain environmental conditions is not working. There are also some problems with the stability of the system, and it is not possible to send SMS when voice calls over the LTE or 4G (VoLTE) network are activated. Also, the gestures used to navigate the phone also do not work, and neither does the Recovery mode. OnePlus also notes that some applications may not work properly with this beta version.
In any case, if you are willing to take on these failures or meet more important new ones, the third beta of Android Q is available for any type of user who has a OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro. You just have to register to join the program Android Q beta. It is a simple procedure, which will also allow you to receive other betas via OTA when they are available.
All the instructions to sign up for the beta program can be found on the OnePlus blog, including how to reverse the process to get back to receiving stable versions of the system instead of betas. In any case, we leave you the direct betas for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro in zip format. Of course, make sure to make a backup copy of all the terminal data before proceeding to install it.
