After several weeks of rumors and leaks of all kinds, the South Korean firm has just made its new mid-range mobile official. We refer to the Galaxy M31, the natural successor to the Galaxy M30s launched a few months ago. The terminal in question comes to renew some of the characteristics of its previous versions, such as the cameras and the design of the rear. The rest of the technical specifications are, a priori, identical to those of the Galaxy M30s.
All in all, the star feature of the Samsung Galaxy M31 is its battery, a battery that promises to provide several days of autonomy. Let's see what Samsung's new mid-range mobile has in store for us.

6,000 mAh of battery go a long way
So is. The phone comes with a battery of no less than 6,000 mAh, inheriting the autonomy of its predecessors, of more than three days, according to the manufacturer. It also inherits part of the design and its technical specifications.
In summary, the terminal integrates a 6.4-inch screen with Super AMOLED technology and Full HD + resolution. It comes accompanied by a processor from the house, the Exynos 9611, along with 4 GB of RAM and two storage options of 64 and 128 GB. Both of type UFS 2.1, like those of the M30s.
The bad news is that the integrated fast charge is only 15 W, a rather low figure considering the theoretical capacity of its battery. The good news is that it has a USB Type-C port, as well as a 3.5-millimeter port for headphones and FM radio.
Four cameras that are completely renewed
The only visual difference that the Galaxy M31 saves with respect to the Galaxy M30s is in the photographic module.
The Asian firm has chosen to insert three 64, 8 and 5 megapixel sensors with angular, wide angle and macro lenses and a fourth 5 megapixel sensor whose functions are intended to obtain information from the scenes when we use the Portrait mode. The difference with respect to the model launched in 2019 is found both in the main sensor (the previous one was 48 megapixels) and in the introduction of a new sensor with a macro lens. The improvement, therefore, translates into photographs with greater definition and greater versatility when playing with the different lenses of the phone.
If we move to the front of the Galaxy M31, the phone has a single 16 megapixel sensor without any additional lens or function. The camera grows in resolution while maintaining characteristics, so the improvement comes from the definition and not so much from the versatility or the level of brightness.
Price and availability in Spain
The phone has been unveiled in India, so its official price and availability are not yet public outside of this region. Converting rupees to euros leaves us with a price of 190 euros for the 64 GB version and 205 euros for the 128 GB version. Its final price should not vary much from these values, taking into account the current price of the Galaxy M30 and M30s.
