There are still a few months to finally launch the update to Android 9 Pie of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus under Samsung Experience 10. Although a beta version was filtered a few days ago for both the S9 and the Note 9, it It is true that today we cannot officially install it in any of the aforementioned models. Despite this, we can know a good part of the features that will come with this new update thanks precisely to this filtration. Now thanks to the XDA website we can know that a new intelligent camera mode will be introduced, very similar to the Artificial Intelligence mode that various terminals currently have.
Artificial Intelligence comes to the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S9
If Samsung mobiles stand out for something, it is because they have a photographic section that has little or nothing to do with the rest of the competition's mobiles. However, one of the most important shortcomings of its camera application is what other brands call "smart mode". It seems that Samsung has taken good note of this, because as we can know from the well-known XDA Developers forum, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will come with an AI mode.
As can be seen in the upper capture, the Galaxy S9 camera application that will come with the update to Android 9 Pie will come with the aforementioned smart mode. Specifically, this new camera mode will be called Scene Optimizer, and thanks to this the colors of the photographs will be adjusted automatically when capturing an image. This operation is similar to that of other phones with Artificial Intelligence, which makes us think that this mode will rely on the AI of the Galaxy S9 processor. Of course, it is to be expected that it will also be launched on other models of the company such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
As for the arrival of said update to Samsung terminals, there is still no official confirmed date. The different websites predict that it will arrive at the beginning of January next year. However, and as we just mentioned, Samsung has not made anything official at the moment. We will keep up to date, although for now we have to wait.
