After a couple of weeks attracting much of the attention of the information technology community, the members of LulzSec say goodbye. But before exiting the forum, this group of hackers has dropped a small bomb related to the favorite terminals of rumor mill in the sector: the iPhone 5 and iPad 3. And it is that according to LulzSec, the next Apple devices (mobile touch and tablet, respectively) will equip LTE profile, which is nothing other than what is perhaps the most popular connectivity system for 4G networks.
To give truthfulness to the leak, the LulzSec collective ensures that the information comes from the database of the North American operator AT&T (the original iPhone dealer in the United States). This group of hackers, which recently announced its dissolution, attacked the servers of this company, and consequently managed to collect a series of confidential data from the company. Among them, some of the plans that Apple would have reportedly communicated to the operator regarding the next mobile devices that it could present in the coming months.
The fact that the iPhone 5 has a profile compatible with 4G connections is something that, although it had not been confirmed (like nothing that is expected for the new Apple phone), it was among the safe bets in the pools of the specialists. The question is if all the iPhone 5 that are distributed in the world will have this connectivity, or if there will be regional versions that discriminate this section depending on the networks compatible with each country.
The big surprise is that from LulzSec they refer to an internal document, although supposedly official, that demonstrates the existence of an iPad 3 among Apple's plans for the next few months. According to this, not only would it have an LTE connection, but also, as has been rumored, the new tablet would double its screen resolution compared to the two existing editions of the iPad, in addition to significantly improving the power of the processor.
