Rumors about the new connections of a future iPhone model are back. On this occasion, the bells come from a bell tower in China. Specifically, they come from the China Mobile operator, where its president, Wang Jianzhou, would have revealed to the national media Business China, that Apple would be preparing a version of the next Applephone that would equip an LTE connection. We are talking about one of the standards for high-speed data networks, which we could define as 4G. According to Jianzhou, it would be a version for thenetworks of the Asian country, which are known as TD-LTE.
As has been known, this model would be planned for the end of 2011 or, more likely, for the beginning of 2012. This data is not a barometer to measure the launch of the next edition of the famous Apple phone, since as they have been demonstrating with the iPhone 4, it is possible to launch a matrix version of the terminal, to gradually complete the range with more particular editions depending on the connectivity (as we saw with the Verizon model) or the color of the housing (something that the white iPhone 4, launched almost ten months after its presentation, has made more than clear).
Although as we say, this iPhone 5 or iPhone 4G oriented to the Chinese market will not show off the standard of LTE connections, the fact that there is talk of a model of this type makes it clear that, if the announcement of the president of China Mobile, Apple is fulfilled it would expand the configurable options of the phones of the next generation. Without the Cupertino company having yet uncovered, what has been raised points out that the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4G will begin to be manufactured in August to go on sale at the end of the third quarter of the year.
