The mother of all gazpachos comes from China. Its name is Goophone i5, and it comes to represent the quintessence of those endearing and crazy Chinese imitations that end up being bazaar meat and object of desire for every collector of the strange. The concept around which this Goophone i5 orbits is a candy of absurdity. Based on the images and components that have been filtered from the iPhone 5, this model has been built that, to make matters worse, does not even correspond to the benefits that are supposed to be the sixth generation of apple phones. Namely, this Goophone i5 has a four-inch screen with 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, eight megapixel camera and, watch out, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
But the thing does not end there. The psychedelic continues when we take a look at the back of this device. Thus, without coming too much to story, the wasp that was used as the logo of Android 3.0 Honeycomb is stamped on the back of the Goophone i5. What difference does it make that Android 4.0 has in the little robot adapted to the ice cream sandwich that serves as the surname of this edition to the iconic figure, the version installs the device. The very concept of the Goophone i5 is a party, and the more nonsense, the more fun.
What is not a joke is the distribution of the rest of benefits. That while you can have a laugh with the hodgepodge that materializes in seeing an apparent iPhone 5 running on Android, as we get, unless the gadget is powerful. And of course, the Goophone i5 is. It equips, in fact, a quad-core processor with a power of 1.4 GHz. It is the NVIDIA Tegra 3, which also comes complemented by a one GB RAM.
On the other hand, the Goophone i5, which can be purchased for around 300 euros in free format, is available in a single model according to internal storage capacity, namely 16 GB. In addition, we could expand the memory using microSD cards of up to 32 GB. In connections, it misses the LTE sensor for fourth generation mobile networks and the NFC proximity communication chip. For the rest, it is very complete: Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and, surprise, microUSB. On the multimedia level, it plays everything, including MKV and DivX videos .
Faced with this curious and insane ingenuity, it would be touching to check a possible alliance between Apple and Google to sue the Chinese firm responsible for this particular Frankenstein of the smartphone world together. In spite of everything, it is most likely that, like so many other terminals of a similar nature, it will end up bypassing the efforts of both companies in their respective patent wars with other companies. In any case, at least in terms of design, the Goophone i5 seems to have managed to hit the target, inspired by the terminal that will very possibly be released in just over a week.
