We are still in the month of August, but true fans of the Apple phone await September like rain. Why? Well, because that will be when the official presentations of the new batch of iPhone devices take place.
For the month nine of the year , the arrival of what will be known as iPhone 11 is expected, although everything indicates that it will not land only in the Apple catalog. Nothing is further from reality. We know, yes, that this will not be the most anticipated future release.
The most important news will surely arrive in September 2020. We are talking about the iPhone 5G or the 120Hz OLED Retina screen. But there is still a long way to go for that. Today we want to review everything we know about the iPhone 11 and its two companions, the iPhone 11R and iPhone 11 Max, which in all probability will be presented together. We will see characteristics, dates and prices. Prepared? Well let's go!
iPhone 11, 11R and 11 Max, the three new models that arrive
Every event has a main star and in this case it is the iPhone 11. This, however, does not arrive alone, but accompanied by two more devices. Let's see which ones and how they are.
For Apple it is a tradition to present three computers at the same time. Last year, for example, the presentation took place in September and the two main phones, in that case the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, went on sale within a week. The iPhone XR, on the other hand, took more than a month to arrive and we didn't see it in stores until October. It is very likely that this year more of the same will happen.
There is no absolute consensus on what the three new Apple devices will be called. We know, yes, that it will be baptized as iPhone 11 and that this will be, at least, the name of the main one.

Goodbye to 3D Touch, hello to a new Taptic Engine
Apple remains committed to improving the touch properties of its devices. However, rumor has it that the pressure-sensitive interface that has so far characterized the company's phones, 3D Touch, will disappear. Analysts believe that what awaits us is a new development from Apple, with which the firm has evolved the Haptic Touch technology with which it intends to improve the user experience.
LCD and OLED screens in the same family
Last year it was like that and experts believe that this 2019 Apple will continue with the tradition. The iPhone XR featured an LCD screen, but the two higher-end models, iPhone XD and iPhone XS Max, were featured with high-resolution OLED displays. This year we could see exactly the same with the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11R and iPhone 11 Max.
What seems clearer is that the news will arrive in 2020, because according to rumors, the three mobiles that will be launched will have OLED panels of the same size as the current screens: 5.4, 6.1 and 6.7 inches.
The A13 processor, at the heart of the device
Most experts agree that the processor that is currently housed as the engine of the current iPhone has little or nothing to envy those that are being installed in other Android devices. However, the A12 Bionic could also be replaced this year by a new chip named A13. If it were not this model, it would be possible that the iPhone 11 that will come will carry a variant of the A12X processor, already integrated in the most recent iPad Pro.
A new camera
One of the biggest changes that experts expect is related to the camera. It is unknown if this novelty will apply to all three models. What we do know is that at least one will enjoy three rear-facing lenses.
Between lenses and megapixels, the new iPhone 11 is expected to have more capacity to carry out wide-angle shots. We would be talking about a set of three cameras, in a triangular configuration, that would combine its functions with the flash and that would be located in a new square module, at one end of the device.
We will see the bilateral load
Analysts believe that the next iPhone will arrive equipped with a bilateral charging system. What does this mean? Well, users will have the opportunity to share the iPhone 11 battery with other devices, such as iPhone or AirPods that have the wireless charging case.
This novelty comes after the elimination of the AirPower wireless charging pad. The system that will be launched with this new generation will allow Apple to match itself with Samsung, which already has its Samsung Galaxy S10 ready to charge other equipment using the Qi wireless standard.
More battery for the iPhone 11
It's a basic: the battery. And the predictions that have been made so far also point to improvements. It is believed that the iPhone 11 and its catalog companions will have larger batteries that, in all probability, will be able to offer greater autonomy. Currently, the challenge for Apple to overcome is 19 hours for the iPhone XR, which is the time it took to download after the video playback tests carried out by Cnet.
What about prices?
Logically, and in the absence of knowing the characteristics of these teams, the prices have not been disclosed either. Currently, getting an iPhone is a challenge that consumers cannot overcome if they do not have more than 1,000 euros in hand.
And the truth is that it does not seem that Apple has the slightest intention of lowering prices. It should be borne in mind, of course, that in recent months iPhone sales have been slowed down, so that in some markets, such as China, Apple has been forced to moderate prices.
Anything else for the iPhone 11?
The leaks that have occurred so far give us a few touches on how the next generation of iPhone 11 could be. We know, on the other hand, that there could be some specific news, equally interesting, that we will see in these phones. For example, a new mute button, located on one of the sides of the device. It would be (although they are only rumors) a small circular button that would replace the elongated sliding button that the iPhone has today.
On the other hand, the USB Type-C connector is expected to replace the Lightning or the support for Apple Pencil, so that users could take advantage of it on their iPhone 11.
