The countdown begins. Without there being a precise day for the presentation of the iPad 3, Apple would have given the green light for the new tablet of the firm to enter the production chain. We have learned this through the publication Geekets, where they point out that the new device would have begun to be manufactured these days in Foxconn's Chinese factories, executing a work plan planned so that the terminal can be ready in February 2012.
So much so, that we have come to know that the holidays granted for the celebration of the Chinese New Year, scheduled for next year for January 23, and that contemplate nine days of leave, would have been repealed from the agenda of the manufacture of the iPad 3, with a view to developing an intensive schedule that allows the necessary units to be ready in time
A few days ago it was pointed out that Apple would have requested an amount of almost ten million iPad 3 to support the commercial premiere of the third generation of the tablet designed in Cupertino. However, it remains unclear whether the terminal will be released on February 24, as Citigroup sources have indicated, or on the contrary, the presentation will take place between March and April, as sources from DigiTimes pointed out.
What does seem to be a reality is the new screen. We are talking about a panel with a resolution unheard of until now, exceeding the limits of what is commercially known as FullHD. And is that the iPad 3 would develop, supposedly, an image quality based on a canvas of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and 9.7 inches.
Much is also speculated about the possibility that the iPad 3 increases its power with the help of a new quad-core chip, which could double the processing speed compared to the latest version in force. However, in the pipeline continues that Apple managed to agree with the South Korean Samsung the supply of AMOLED panels.
