With permission from the competition, this week has a clear protagonist: the iPad 2. The new tablet from Apple focuses all the attention of professional and amateur sector, and it is no wonder. Those from Cupertino last year pulled out of their sleeve a device that, rescuing a previously seen concept, although with less fortune than Apple's proposal, managed to open a new category, standing halfway between the large-format smartphone and the netbook limited benefits.
Thus, with the imminent presentation of the iPad 2 on Wednesday March 2, the temperature of leaks, rumors and speculation about what this tablet will give of itself rises. Through Phone Arena we have had access to a series of images that have all the ballots to be real captures of the tablet, and that we show you below.
Through the photographs you can deduce some points of the performance of the iPad 2. The most striking is that it will have a screen with the same dimensions and format as the edition that triumphed in 2010. Some rumors already indicated that, in addition to an equal size on the panel, the iPad 2 would repeat in resolution, so the Retina Display technology would be discarded.
More things. If we sharpen our eyes we will notice a couple of interesting details. For starters, it confirmed external speaker located in the lower rear area of the device, which in principle would give more audio quality sound output. At least, more quality than what the current edition registered.
On the other, there is no sign of a memory card or USB slot. It seems unlikely that the installation of memory upgrades is done by removing the case, so once again Apple would remove the option to the user to incorporate additional memory. Regarding USB, it would be risky to discard it directly, since the dock port could have some kind of native adapter to use external storage.
