Recently, the iPhone 5 and the smaller version of the Cupertino tablet (iPad mini), received an update of the icon system in which presumably some bugs in the WiFi connection were fixed. However, it has been fixing a bug and having to start studying a new patch: now have problems in battery consumption.
Apple does not seem to have hit the mark with its latest smartphone . And not because of its design, which has been lengthened to achieve a four-inch diagonal screen and a chassis with a thinner body has been achieved. However, the problems have not stopped ceasing: just a couple of days ago the update to iOS 6.0.2 was launched with which it was intended to correct a problem in the WiFi connection in the last two devices launched on the market, the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini.
Despite apparently solving the problem of the wireless connection, there are already different users who have begun to complain of excessive battery consumption on their computers. From the Apple support forums, there are already several clients who are reporting the failure that is presented to them on their respective computers.
For instance, one customer commented that before upgrading to iOS 6.0.2 had no problem with WiFi connection, much less battery. By the end of the day, it managed to maintain a battery level of 40 percent. However, after the update you have seen that in just three hours after disconnecting your iPhone 5 from the power outlet, it was already indicated that there was 40 percent of battery remaining to get through the day; that is to say: his terminal had consumed 60 percent in three hours.
In addition, users who have not yet updated are being alerted not to do so if they have no problems with their WiFi connections. Apple, for its part, has not yet answered anything to the users of its forums. What is known is that a new version of the mobile operating system is being worked on and that it is called iOS 6.1.
At the moment, several "" trial versions "" betas have been released and are already being analyzed by the developers on their own computers. The latest version (the fourth) was released on December 17. Among the improvements expected in this new version, we could mention the possibility of buying movie tickets through the virtual assistant Siri.
Although we must not forget the issue of the Maps application: after the abandonment of the Google Maps database, Apple has not managed to make its own service work at all. However, Nokia with Nokia HERE or Google with the official application for iPhone Google Maps, have saved the papers of Tim Cook's team.
Also, they haven't forgotten about their internet-based service called iCloud. Apparently, work is being done to introduce some security improvements and a new appearance in the management of files uploaded to the Internet. Also, the excessive consumption of the data rate that is carried out since the update to the iOS 6 version, it seems to have not been solved: users complain that their bonuses end before the end of the month, when they previously did not.
