The update for Apple computers is now available for download. It's only been a few hours since the Cupertinos sent some users a trial version of the new software. And it can already be downloaded iOS 5.0.1 on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
In addition, it is confirmed that it will be the first update that can be done without the need to connect the equipment to a computer with a cable and download the patch with the iTunes program. However, to be able to do this step it will always be necessary to have previously updated to the iOS 5 version; more cautious users will have waited for battery problems to be resolved.
Well, to be able to update both the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch without cables, the user must enter the "settings" menu and in "general" go to the "software update" section. Once inside, the terminal will notify you that there is a version of the icons and their weight is barely 40 MB.
Similarly, users who want to use a cable and manage the download from iTunes, Apple also gives the option. iOS 5.0.1 is compatible with different devices among which are the following: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad, iPad 2 and iPod Touch third and fourth generation.
With new icons, Apple aims to solve the problem of excessive spending battery that had some customers on their computers, as well as return multitouch gestures to the original iPad.
