For a few days we have known with certainty that the new ZTE Nubia Z9 will be presented on May 6, and meanwhile the leaks are allowing us to know all the details of what will become the new ZTE flagship. This time, the ZTE Nubia Z9 housing has been revealed in some images that confirm that this new mobile will be built on a completely metallic design (at least on the side edges). Apparently we are talking about a design very similar to that of the recently presented ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini, which incorporate a housing with metal edges and a glass-protected back.
But the metal casing will not be the most striking finish of the ZTE Nubia Z9. As previously filtered photographs have revealed, the new ZTE Nubia Z9 will incorporate a curved screen on all sides, in such a way that there will be no side frames of any kind on the front of the terminal. Of course, the mobile will continue to have lateral edges, although the thickness of these edges will not cover the entire width of the terminal (part of the space will be occupied by the curved screen). In addition, rumors claim that the curved screen of the ZTE Nubia Z9 will bring with it some additional functions that will include actions such as taking a photo, answering a call or adjusting the volume.
And what features are expected from the new ZTE Nubia Z9 ? Neither more nor less than some technical specifications corresponding to a high-end mobile of the year 2015. We speak of a screen 5.2 inches with resolution Quad HD of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 of eight cores, 4 gigabytes of memory capacity RAM, 32 gigabytes of memory (expandable external card), a camera master of 20.1 megapixels, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a battery with 3000 mAhcapacity (non-removable). If these technical specifications are true, the ZTE Nubia Z9 will come with superior features even than the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max (which, for example, comes with 3 GigaBytes of RAM and 16 GigaBytes of internal memory).
The ZTE Nubia Z9 will be officially presented at an event that will take place in China (specifically, in Beijing), so it is still too early to talk about its possible availability beyond the borders of the Asian territory. Even so, from the PhoneArena website they assured a few days ago that the starting price of this new smartphone for the European market could be around 450 euros. If we take into account that the ZTE Nubia Z7 was presented with a starting price that was around 410 euros, the price that the media indicates for the new Nubia Z9 it has a good chance of becoming a reality.
