Huawei returns to the scene with a new device to satisfy the mid-range. This is the Huawei Y9 2019, which boasts a front with hardly the presence of frames and a small notch or notch at the top. Glass design with notch
The new Huawei Y9 2019 is made of glass with gradient finishes that do not make it go unnoticed. Its rear is quite clean. We see the double main camera vertically next to the company logo (also in the same position), and a fingerprint reader occupying the upper central part. If we turn it around, we find its infinite screen. There is almost no presence of frames, although there is space for a small notch or notch that houses the front sensor. It is a thin phone, with a thickness that barely exceeds 8 millimeters and a weight of 173 grams.
The Y9 2019 panel has a size of 6.5 inches and a Full HD + resolution. It offers a 19: 5: 9 aspect ratio, more elongated than traditional screens. It is also covered with a 2.5D glass. Inside the computer there is room for a Kirin 710 processor, an eight-core chip made of 12 nanometers, accompanied by a 4 or 6 GB RAM. The storage starts at 64 GB, with the possibility of expanding through microSD cards of up to 400 GB.
Four cameras better than three
At a photographic level, the Huawei Y9 2019 has a double sensor on both the back and the front. The main one has a resolution of 16 and 2 megapixels with LED flash and the secondary comes with 13 and 2 megapixels. It should be noted that they have artificial intelligence to improve the quality of the captures, especially in environments where there is not too much light. Likewise, the Huawei Y9 2019 also equips a 4,000 mAh battery, which, given its characteristics, will allow us to use its functions for a long time.
With regard to the rest of the features, the Huawei Y9 2019 is governed by Android 8.1 Oreo along with the EMUI 8.2 customization layer. It also includes Wifi, LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 or GPS.
Availability and price
The Huawei Y9 2019 will be available in mid-October in select markets. At the moment, we do not know the exact places where it will be on sale. We know that it will be available in black, blue and a gradient baptized as Aurora. As for the price, it is also unknown, although it is possible that it lands between 300-400 euros.
