The combo of the Asian companies Huawei - Honor is going to leave behind a significant number of mid-range and entry-level smartphone models in the coming months. After the recent presentation of the Honor 4A, Huawei has just starred in a leak in which a mobile that responds to the name of Huawei Y6 Scale has been discovered. We are facing a new entry-level smartphone whose starting price is expected to be contained, at the current exchange rate, at a figure below 150 euros.
The Huawei Y6 Scale - according to the leak distributed by WinFuture.de - will be officially presented in the coming days, and it is rumored that it will be a smartphone that will even be available in Europe. Apparently, Huawei will launch this mobile on the market with the idea of competing against lower-middle-range models from other manufacturers such as the Motorola Moto E (2015) or even the Motorola Moto G (2014).
The new Y6 Scale of Huawei be presented with a relatively compact size, and incorporating a display of five inches (housed in a panel IPS) with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels (resulting in a pixel density established in the 294 ppi). Although no accurate measurements have been leaked, yes it has been known that the thickness of mobile again this will be set at 8.3 mm, which would mean a figure significantly lower than the 12.3 and 11 mm thickness of the Moto E (2015) and Moto G (2014), respectively.
But it is in the internal components where we really realize the range to which this smartphone will belong. The Huawei Y6 Scale incorporate a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 of four cores, a graphics processor Adreno 304, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 8 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable card microSD), a main chamber eight megapixels, a front chamber two megapixels connectivity 4G LTE for ultra-fast Internet, Android 5.0 Lollipop and2,200 mAh battery capacity.
Huawei is scheduled to present the Huawei Y6 Scale in the coming days, and we will have to wait until its official launch to find out if we are talking about a mobile really oriented to the European market. Of course, if the price will be around 150 euros, the Y6 Scale will have many ballots to become an alternative to entry-level mobile phones on the market. At the end of the day, although its performance does not stand out in any section, we are talking about a terminal that could incorporate 4G, Android 5.0 Lollipop and the quality seal of a company like Huawei.
And be careful, because in the coming weeks it is also likely that the presentation of the new Huawei G8 will take place, a mid-range with a metal casing - and some features yet to be revealed - that could come to succeed the current Huawei Ascend G7.
