Huawei does not neglect the entry range and has just added the Huawei Y6 2019 to its catalog. The device has evolved a lot with respect to its predecessor, staying in line with the Huawei Y6 Pro that we met only a month ago, although with more measured features. The most characteristic of this new Huawei Y6 2019 is the sound. The terminal includes a speaker with more power than other models of the company. It will also go on sale in a version with a leather back cover, which gives it a more elegant look.

The Huawei Y6 Pro follows the design line of its brother in the “Pro” range: notch in the shape of a drop of water, almost imperceptible frames and slightly rounded edges. At first glance it looks like a slim, comfortable and handy phone. To all this we must add its rear part with a leather finish, although it will only be available for the brown version. It will also be possible to purchase it without this black or blue finish. In this case, the back is covered with glass. The Y6 2019 also boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 87%. This is 6.09 inches in size with HD + resolution.
Inside the Huawei Y6 2019 there is room for a quad-core processor, a MediaTek MT6761 (Helio A22) running at a speed of 2.0 Ghz. This chip is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage (expandable by microSD type cards). It is a discreet set, but it will allow navigation or the use of popular apps such as Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp without problem. On a photographic level, the device includes a 13-megapixel rear sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and an 8- megapixel front sensor for selfies. Perhaps the most remarkable thing here is the possibility of facial unlocking, which shares a leading role in security matters with the fingerprint reader (located on the back).
One of the great novelties of this new model is the sound. According to Huawei itself, an additional 6 dB has been added compared to other company mobiles, thus making it a complete portable speaker. In addition, it offers FM radio. On the other hand, the Y6 2019 also equips a 3,020 mAh battery and arrives governed by Android 9 Pie under the EMUI 9.0 customization layer. At the moment, we don't know when it will go on sale and at what price. Keep in mind that the Y6 2018 had a starting price of 150 euros, so it should not land much more expensive.
