Huawei wanted to celebrate the first year of the Huawei P30 Pro launch with a special edition. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition arrives in Spain as a new high-end for the firm's catalog. Actually, it is the same model announced a year ago, but with a new color finish and in a single configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The only difference of the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition compared to last year's P30 Pro is that a new silver color finish is included (also called 'Silver Frost'. It keeps the glass as the main material, but unlike the other models, the P30 Pro New Edition in this color has a matte cover. In other words, it is not as glossy and the finish is different: softer and that prevents fingerprints from being marked. The color of the back also blends with the frames of aluminum, which have the same silver finish, but with a shiny hue.
Besides the finish, at the design level there is no other difference. The vertical camera module and the panoramic screen with double curvature on the side are maintained, as well as a drop-type notch in the upper area.
