We often see manufacturers launch improved versions of their flagship phones. For example, OnePlus usually announces the 'T' version after about 6 months of announcing its flagship, since during this time technologies change, and users may ask for some other feature on the device. Huawei has done something similar with one of its mid-range models: the Huawei P30 Lite. They launch a new version where we only see a single novelty. This is the Huawei P30 Lite of 2020.
Don't expect changes to the design. Neither in the processor, nor in the battery. This Huawei P30 Lite is practically the same device that they announced a few months ago. The terminal maintains its double main camera of 48, 8 megapixels wide angle and 2 megapixels for depth of field, on a polycarbonate rear, its screen without frames and with a drop-type notch, and a mid-range Kirin 710 processor. Where is the main novelty? On your front camera. At the moment it happens to have a resolution of 32 megapixels. The previous version had 24.It's not a huge leap in resolution, but it's a new sensor, so improvements in selfie photography are to be expected. Also included is a new mode for the main camera called Handheld Super Night, which basically improves night photography by adding more brightness and color.

More storage
In addition, the configuration of RAM and internal storage is improved. This Huawei P30 Lite 2020 comes with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of base memory. In the previous version we had a base memory of 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB, although we could raise the RAM to 8 GB, while in all variants we had 128 gigabytes of memory.
Among other specifications, the P30 Lite 2020 has a 6.15-inch screen with Full HD + resolution. All this with a 3340 mAh battery and fast charging support with up to 18 watts. In addition, it is compatible with Dual SIM and has NFC connectivity for mobile payments. Of course, it includes Android as an operating system, and it does so under EMUI 9. It will soon update to EMUI 10 with Android 10. It seems that it does have Google applications, since it is a device that has been previously certified.
Price and availability
The Huawei P30 Lite New Edition has been announced in Italy. It is already on sale at a price of 350 euros, and can be purchased in black or blue with gradient. This new version replaces the one from 2019. At the moment we do not know if it will arrive in Spain. In any case, it is a good alternative if we are looking for a mid-range terminal with a good RAM and storage configuration.
