As we walk down the street at night, we can look up and be captivated by a round, voluptuous, perfectly bright full moon. And of course, the first thing we think about is to take out the mobile, point to the sky and immortalize the star and then be the envy of our friends when teaching it. In theory everything is perfect and we think that what we see is what is going to be reflected on the screen later. Not even remotely. In most cases, the most that we get to perceive is an almost not even round spot, bright, with a halo of light that surrounds it and turns it into a blurred ball hardly comparable to the dreamy picture that we had mounted on our head.

Huawei wants to turn the next photograph you take of the moon into something that, when we look at it, we know for sure that it is about the moon. In addition to pulling out of his sleeve a specific way to photograph the moon on his Huawei P30 Pro terminal, a function that many brands want to have with them as well, he has just launched a patent entitled 'a method and an electronic device to photograph the Moon'. A title that leaves no room for doubt regarding the intentions of the Chinese brand.
The patent shows a solution to photograph the moon properly. The brand would have found a method in which the camera would automatically detect the Moon, enter lunar shooting mode, and then capture multiple frames of the same image. The different images have, in turn, different exposure parameters (like when we take a photo in HDR). In this way, we can have an image with a clear and sharp background and a Moon, in the foreground, also bright. The main problem with photos taken of the Moon is that in the end they almost always look the same: a blob of light that is more embarrassing than visual pleasure.
