Just a few weeks ago, we heard the news that Google was not going to give more support to Huawei so that it could use Android on its phones. However, a few days were enough for the matter to be clarified and Huawei had a (apparently long) truce by the United States government.
However, and during those dark days (from which Huawei seems to have already recovered in terms of sales), the Chinese-born firm proclaimed from the rooftops that the veto would not affect its future launches at all.
In fact, he was thinking of using his own operating system - which he already had prepared - instead of supplying all his phones with Google, regardless of the range they were part of.
The fact is that, even having solved the problem, it seems that Huawei persists in its determination to launch a device that works with its own operating system. A report published in the Chinese media Global Times, Huawei could present a phone with its own operating system, HongMeng OS, later this year. But what kind of device are we talking about?

We are still in the rumor stage, so this information should be quarantined. We know, however, that the device that Huawei could launch would be part of a mid-range and would have a market price of about 300 euros.
The objective that Huawei pursues with this launch is to start attracting both developers and users, with the aim of building community and, after all, being able to rival Google. Which will not be easy, of course.
It would not be strange if the official presentation of Huawei's operating system took place this week. This Friday, August 9, the company plans an event in which it could take advantage of to publicize the platform. Or what has been done so far.
We must not lose sight of the fact that the firm has redoubled efforts to get its operating system ready as soon as possible before Trump's veto. In fact, and as with the American president you never know, Huawei will not hurt having a plan B in case things go wrong again. We'll be alert.
