Yesterday Huawei presented in London its new high-end, the Huawei P8, a phone that did not arrive alone. At the event, the Asian also showed a more generous screen device dubbed the Huawei P8 Max. We do not know if because I did not have enough time or not to overshadow these two presentations, the fact is that without making too much noise another member of the family also announced in the shade. It is the Huawei P8 Lite, a reduced version of its flagship, which will be very competitively priced and will eclipse many of the mid-range phones on the market. Design and display

The Huawei P8 Lite presents compact and well-defined shapes, which will be able to make it rival very closely with some phones such as the Moto G, which are so successful in the market. It will be available in a wide variety of colors (black, gold, white and gray), all of them very elegant and that will give it that professional look for which Huawei has worked so hard all these months. The screen of the Huawei P8 Lite is not what is said small. The company has used for this model a HiSilicon Kirin 620 SoC, an eight-core 64-bit processor that runs at 1.2 GHz. It is the same chip that incorporates the Huawei Honor 4X. It is not that it is a last generation one, but it will be capable enough to move the operating system with force. For its part, the RAM remains at 2GB, more than acceptable for this new mid-range.

When it comes to internal memory, we'll have to settle for 16GB. It will not be complicated, especially when we tell you that it can be expanded without problems up to 128GB through MicroSD type cards. If it still falls short, you can always use one of the cloud storage services, which some offer up to 100GB for free.

Operating system and applications

The Huawei P8 Lite will hit the market with the latest version of Google's mobile platform: Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is a version that has introduced notable changes and that has meant a before and after in Android. The most important novelty that can be seen with the naked eye is the new Material Design interface. Thanks to it, we now see more brightness and order in our icons, as well as a more readable reading. Its price could be around 250 euros, undoubtedly a very attractive value for a phone that has nothing to envy many mid-range on the market.
