Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei's highest-end mobile device receives its first Software update. It has only been on the market for a few days, and the Chinese manufacturer has already decided to launch a new version to fix some errors, add security patches and include other very interesting improvements. The new update has already arrived in Spain and we will tell you all the news and how to update.
The new version is numbered CTL-L19 8.1.0.107 (C432) and CTL-L09 8.1.0.107 (C432). It is available for all P20 Pro models marketed in Spain. The package has an approximate weight of 696 MB. Although in our model provided by Huawei for analysis the update has a weight of 3.4 GB. It could be that size as a press unit. Among the main corrections, there is one in the topic section. Some online themes were not updating correctly. On the other hand, we must highlight different improvements in the camera. First of all, we noticed the more stable application, with smoother transitions and repositioned modes.In Professional mode, ISO has been added up to 6400. Previously it was 3200. We also noticed a greater response in the system, with more fluid animations and without small cuts that we saw before. Finally, Huawei has added the security patch for March. The firm has not specified which vulnerabilities it has fixed. The Android version remains at 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1.

How to update the Huawei P20 Pro to the latest version
As we mentioned, the update reaches the CTL-L19 and CTL-L09 models via OTA. That is, through the internet. It has been released in a staggered fashion, so it may take a few days for it to reach your device. If you have automatic updates activated, it will appear once you are connected to a stable WI-FI network. Otherwise, you must go to "Settings", "System" and "Software Update". Click on Check for updates or, in the menu at the top, on download the latest complete package. Remember to have a minimum of 50 percent battery, as well as enough internal storage to support the update. As always, it is advisable to make a backup of your data.
