We are in the days leading up to one of the most important events in the mobile telephony sector. However, this will not be the setting for the presentation of the new Huawei smartphones.
No, at least, the one we are dealing with now. It's the Huawei P20 Plus and it just appeared in leaks. It will be presented on March 27 in Paris, along with other devices. At least three, which are the following: the Huawei P20 Plus, the Huawei P20 Lite and the Huawei P20.
A report published by @funkyhuawei has just revealed that the Huawei P20 Plus will be a super powerful device in terms of autonomy. The phone will have a battery of up to 4,000 milliamps. Which should provide users with energy for a while. Better said, for days.
But this is not all. A screenshot has also revealed that the team will feature the Always on Display feature. A feature that always shows basic information on the screen (time, messages, calls…) and that avoids users having to unlock the device each time to perform checks.
Huawei P20 Plus, leaked features
To date, we only know of one device that has this capability in Huawei's catalog. And it is the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The Huawei P10 Plus, which would be the most direct predecessor of the Huawei P20 Plus, consists of a 3,750 milliamp battery. This means that this model would evolve considerably with respect to the previous model.
It is believed, on the other hand, that the Huawei P20 Plus will have an OLED screen, a technology perfectly compatible with Always On Display technology.
It is expected, on the other hand, that both the Huawei P20 Plus and the Huawei P20 have a triple camera structure. Although not many details are known about its operation, it seems that the highest resolution that can be obtained will be 40 megapixels. At the moment, we are facing rumors, but if so, Huawei will offer unparalleled progress in this regard.
The design of the Huawei P20
Another issue that has been discussed in the chapters of rumors has to do with the design of the Huawei P20 that will come. It seems that on the front the devices will have a notch, the same as the iPhone X, in which a couple of technologies will be located.
The first, more classic, the front camera. The second, a facial recognition sensor. It will be something very similar to FaceID, but the truth is that experts agree that it will be a much faster and much more secure system than Apple's. Users will be able to unlock the Huawei P20 in a more agile way.
It would be expected, on the other hand, that all Huawei P20s - including the P20 Lite - had a fingerprint sensor at the same time. This is a mystery that has not yet been resolved. And that will certainly be revealed on March 27.
Huawei P20, other features
But more data has been leaked. The Huawei P20 will be the base model and will probably have a screen of dimensions that will be between 5.5 and 5.8 inches, with a ratio of 18: 9. The processor will be a Kirin 970, combined with 4 GB of RAM. The phone will also include an internal memory of 64 GB, which can be expanded later with microSD cards.
The Huawei P20 Plus will be the most powerful team of the three. This would count, as we have indicated, a 6.1-inch OLED screen. Inside, a Kirin 970 processor, identical to the Huawei P20, and 6 GB of RAM. The internal memory will also be higher, which in this case would reach 128 GB.
