We knew it as Huawei Enjoy 7s in China. Now the company has announced it for the western market as Huawei P Smart. The device claims to be the renewal of the Huawei P8 Lite. With a balanced design, almost without the presence of frames and an infinite screen. That, it must be said, has become so fashionable in recent times. The new model also offers a dual camera and eight-core processor with 3 or 4 GB of RAM. It is also governed by Android 8, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. The Huawei P Smart will land on February 1 at a very competitive price: from 260 euros. Very attentive because these are its main characteristics.

Infinity display and multi-color design
Without a doubt, the main virtue of the new Huawei P Smart is its infinite screen. It features a 5.65-inch panel with an 18: 9 aspect ratio. Its resolution is Full HD +, 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. At first glance we find a mobile very much in the line of other models of the company. Slightly rounded edges, reduced frames and a fingerprint reader presiding over the central rear part. It is a slim and fairly light terminal. Its exact measurements are 150.1 x 72.1 x 7.5 mm and its weight is 143 grams. As the company itself announced during its presentation, it will be available in three colors to choose from: black, matte blue or gold.
Two different versions
The new device will be available with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB for storage. Both versions will be able to expand their space through the use of microSD type cards. When it comes to performance, the Huawei P Smart perfectly fits within the mid-range. It is powered by a Kirin 659 processor, with 4 A53 cores running at 2.36GHz and another 4 A53s running at 1.7GHz. Basically, we will not have any problem when using simple applications or making use of several processes at the same time.
The photographic section is formed by a double main camera of 13 and 2 megapixels. With it, we can achieve the popular bokeh effect and focus on capturing all the attention on an object within the image. The secondary camera is simple, with a resolution of 8 megapixels, which is not bad at all for quality selfies.
For the rest, the new Huawei P Smart equips a 3,000 mAh battery and is governed by Android 8. This version comes along with the EMUI 8 company customization layer. At the connection level, the terminal offers a bouquet for all pleasures. It is dual SIM and has LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 or GPS.
Price and availability
The Huawei P Smart will be on sale from February 1 at a price from 260 euros. As we say, it can be purchased in three different colors: black, matte blue or gold.
