Huawei has just unveiled a new model, Huawei Nova 5T, which is basically a first cousin of the Honor 20. The only differences that separate them are more RAM, which comes with 8 GB instead of 6 GB, as well as a part rear with a different finish. Otherwise, the Nova 5T and Honor 20 are identical. This new terminal will go on sale in Malaysia from September 5 at an exchange rate of 330 euros. At the moment we do not know if it will be sold outside Asia.
If we compare the Honor 20 with the Huawei Nova 5T we will see that the front is the same. Both arrive with a front without almost frames with perforation to house the secondary sensor and a 6.26 ″ LCD panel with a 2,340 x 1,080 FHD + resolution. What does change is the back, which in this new team has a different, brighter finish, and with the logo located vertically in the lower left corner. Inside there is still a Kirin 980 processor, although now accompanied by 8 GB of RAM. For storage we have 128 GB expandable via microSD.
As for the photographic section, the Huawei Nova 5T includes a four-lens rear camera formed by a 48-megapixel main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 16-megapixel wide-angle and f / 2.2 aperture, as well as a third and fourth 2 megapixel sensor. For selfies we can use a 32 megapixel front sensor with f / 2.0 aperture. For the rest, the Huawei Nova 5T, like the Honor 20, offers a 3,750 mAh battery with fast charging up to 22.5W and is governed by Android 9 Pie under EMUI 9.1.
The Huawei Nova 5T has been officially announced in Malaysia and is listed on Huawei's Singapore website. For now we do not know if it will be sold outside of Asia, although we will be very awaiting to know if this is the case. In Malaysia, it will go on sale starting next September 5 at an exchange price of 330 euros. It will be available to purchase in three colors: black, purple and blue.
