Huawei mate 9 porsche design, the mobile with a curved panel more expensive than the iphone
Huawei has presented a few hours ago its new flagship, the Huawei Mate 9. The new terminal of the Chinese company will arrive, to everyone's surprise, in two versions, although one of them will not be available to any pocket. The new Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design offers a slightly different design than the “normal” Huawei Mate 9, a 5.5-inch screen with 2K resolution, 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage capacity. The rest of the characteristics are maintained, including the double camera signed by Leika. But what is not maintained is the price, since this "luxury" version of the Huawei Mate 9It amounts to no less than 1,400 euros.
It seems that this year Huawei is determined to pull collaborations to give a distinctive touch to its terminals. To the already well-known collaboration with Leika for the manufacture of the double camera, the agreement with the Porsche Design company to manufacture an exclusive model of the Huawei Mate 9 is now added. The terminal designed in collaboration with the German company offers an exclusive black color, with rounded lines and a screen with curved edges. The fingerprint reader has been changed to the front, much in the style of Samsung terminals, and on the back the logo ofPorsche Design. In addition, the terminal is lighter and thinner, a thickness of only 7.9 mm and a weight of 169 grams.
But this exclusive version is not limited to cosmetic changes. The most significant change comes in the screen, which is reduced to 5.5 inches, but with a considerable increase in resolution, going from the "normal" Full HD of the Huawei Mate 9 to a QHD resolution, in addition to the incorporation of AMOLED panel. Inside the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design we find the same processor as in the normal model, the new Kirin 960 developed by the company. It is a processor that incorporates eight cores, four Cortex-A73 running at 2.4 GHz and another four Cortex-A53 running at 1.8 GHz. An eight-core Mali-G71 GPU is responsible for the graphics. This processor is accompanied by an increase in RAM memory to 6 GB and an increase in internal storage capacity to no less than 256 GB, expandable via microSD card.
As for the photographic section, the configuration of the Huawei Mate 9 is maintained. That is, we will have the same dual sensor system of the Huawei P9 that has been developed in collaboration with Leika, although this time something improved is coming. On the one hand incorporates a target color with a 12 megapixel sensor, and on the other hand, we have a monochrome goal with 20 megapixel sensor. In addition, an optical image stabilization system has been incorporated, both for photo and video, in addition to a 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus system. Finally note that a 2x optical zoom has been included, in the style of the one incorporated by Apple in the iPhone 7 Plus.
The battery is also maintained, with a capacity of 4,000 milliamps, as well as the SuperCharge fast charging system. Battery to be charged through the USB Type-C port.
As we said, what is not maintained is the price. And it is that this special edition signed by Porsche Design of the Huawei Mate 9 will have an official price of no less than 1,400 euros. A luxury within the reach of very few pockets.
