More RAM and storage for China
Manufactured with a polished metal frame with a glass back, the Huawei Maimang 7 offers a number of improvements compared to its predecessor, the Maimang 6. This time, the company has increased the size and resolution of the screen. Now, we find a 6.3-inch panel with a Full HD + resolution. The terminal shares a design with the European version, and has a notch or notch on the front, very similar to that of the iPhone X.
Inside there is room for an eight-core Kirin 710 processor. This chip is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space, with the possibility of expanding it through the use of microSD cards. As we say, the Chinese version has more capacity and internal memory than that sold in Europe.
Four smart cameras
One of the most outstanding features, which we already saw in the Huawei Mate 20 Lite and which is also available in the Huawei Maimang 7, is found in the photographic section. The device has four cameras (two on the front and two on the main one), which take advantage of the use of Artificial Intelligence to perfect the captures. The two secondary sensors have a resolution of 24 and 2 megapixels. They have the ability to automatically recognize more than 200 different scenes, including beach, vegetation or blue sky. But it also includes the Qmoji 3D function to create emoticons with our face or an HDR mode in real time.
The two main cameras arrive with 20 and 2 megapixels, with the possibility of recognizing more than 500 scenes divided into 22 different categories. Also, there is no lack of a Super Slow Motion mode to capture at 480 fps and reproduce images at 16 times slower speed.
For the rest, the Huawei Maimang 7 is also equipped with a 3,750 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging technology, which will allow us to charge it in half the time. We also have facial unlocking, a fingerprint reader on the back and Android Oreo 8.1 operating system under EMUI 8.2.
Availability and price in China
The Huawei Maimang 7 is now available to buy in China at a price of 300 euros, 100 euros cheaper than in Spain. Shipments will begin to be made from September 15. It can be purchased in three colors: black, gold or blue.
