On July 4, Huawei opened the doors of its first physical store; specifically in the Gran Vía of Madrid, at the height of Callao. Now the Asian firm has announced the opening of its second macro-store in Spain. The space selected by the company is located in the Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona, and the opening will take place tomorrow, Saturday February 22, from 10:00 in the morning. The company has confirmed that it is the second largest Huawei store in the world outside of China.
The second Huawei store in Spain opens with more than 1,000 gifts
Espai Huawei Barcelona will be the name of the store in Barcelona. The official opening will take place at 7:00 p.m., where a series of events and activities will be held with the presence of Jorge Lorenzo, Moto GP rider and winner of five world championships, and some of the Huawei executives Spain.
The store opens with an area of no less than 750 square meters spread over two floors, like the Madrid store. The space will have experience areas with exhibitions for sports and health, art and photography, and video and multimedia creation. In addition to having an area dedicated to technology, an area has been set up for consulting and repair functions of brand devices.
As a sign of gratitude for the attendance, the store will give away a brand device (smartphones, tablets, smart watches, headphones and chargers, among others) from 10:00 am to the first 1,000 attendees of the event. Likewise, 40 additional products will be raffled through the QR code provided at the entrance of the store along with three other raffles that will take place throughout the afternoon where several of the star products of the Chinese firm will be given away.
Huawei store hours in Barcelona
The store hours from the opening date will be from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. The space will be open from Monday to Saturday in the months between September and May. From June to September, the hours will be from 10:00 in the morning to 22:00 at night.
