If something that the guys from the Taiwanese HTC do well is launch smart phones on the market at a very intense pace. That is why we should not be surprised by the appearance of a new member of the family with this HTC Rider. It would be a terminal that, once we have examined the features it boasts, gives us a certain sense of déjà ví¹ , and it is not by chance: its technical picture is identical to that of the HTC Evo 3D.
However, in the specifications included in the ROM that has been leaked through PocketNow, we observe that the mobile that consists of an unknown HTC Rider is not exactly an Evo 3D. The first proposals in this regard suggest that the HTC Rider would be the model that the Taiwanese manufacturer would have developed for the international distribution of the 3D mobile that it presented several weeks ago at the CTIA in Orlando.
Indeed, a quick look at some of the features of the HTC Rider reveal that it would be a renowned version of the HTC Evo 3D. To begin with, it is compatible with the contents in three dimensions, either playing them (remember, without the need to wear special glasses to see the results on your screen 4.3 inch) or capturing them (in photos of a maximum of eight megapixels or in 720p HD videos). It also allows you to shoot video in FullHD quality, as long as we record the image in 2D.
It does not lack a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, as well as a dedicated graphics unit from the Adreno 220 series. Performance is supported by no less than a GB of RAM. In this case, the presence of a WiMax signal receiver stands out in the connections section.
This type of connectivity is used for next- generation mobile high-speed networks, or 4G, so at least this version could be ruled out for many European markets where this type of protocol is not used.
