The Taiwanese company HTC has just introduced a new version of its flagship in the mobile phone market, the HTC One M8. It is the HTC One E8, an edition that is characterized by incorporating a design very similar to the One M8 with the peculiarity that the housing is made of plastic. As we can guess, we are facing an economic version of the flagship in which we find certain peculiarities that have allowed HTC to launch an economic alternative to one of its most popular mobiles. Although, yes, at the moment we only know that the HTC One E8will hit the Chinese market.
Still in the absence of confirmation regarding its launch in Europe, it is really interesting to take a look at the technical characteristics of this mobile. The HTC One E8 comes with a five-inch screen that reaches a resolution of 1,080 pixels, so we will not notice any appreciable difference in image quality compared to other high-end phones. Inside this mobile is a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 of four cores that functions in company with a memory RAM of 2 gigabytes.
The internal storage capacity is set at 16 GigaBytes, and the user also has at his disposal a slot for external microSD memory cards up to a maximum of 128 GigaBytes. The operating system installed as standard is Android in its latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and everything seems to indicate that the interface is HTC Sense in its also most recent version of Sense 6.
On the back of the HTC One E8 we find a camera that presents a big difference compared to the camera of the HTC One M8: it is an individual camera (accompanied by an LED flash), so in this case HTC has decided to do without the dual-camera that characterizes his high-end mobile. The sensor incorporated in this camera is 13 megapixels, and has an opening of f / 2.2. Moreover, on the front of the phone we find a secondary camera of five megapixels.
Finally, it is also interesting that we know that the battery incorporated as standard in this mobile has a capacity of 2,600 mAh (milliamps), and since it is a terminal formed by a single structure, the battery is not removable.
However. Although we have known all the specifications of the HTC One E8, there is certainly still a piece of information that has not been released: the starting price of this mobile. Presumably we are facing a terminal that will be significantly cheaper than the HTC One M8 (which we remember cost more than 700 euros at launch). Let's also hope that the European market is one of the destinations for this mobile, since at the moment it has only been confirmed for the Asian market.
