The Taiwanese company HTC seems to be interested in renewing its catalog of smartphones that are relatively affordable in price and simple in technical specifications. This has been revealed by Jack Tong himself, president of HTC in Asia, who in recent statements collected by the Asian website DigiTimes has stated that HTC will produce new entry-level smartphones with 4G connectivity during the next year 2015.
Jack Tong ensures that these new smartphones can be purchased directly through the Internet, although we do not know if it refers only to Asian countries or if, in addition, we are also talking about global availability.
And although more information about these new HTC smartphones has not transpired, everything indicates that we are talking about mobiles relatively similar to the HTC Desire 310, HTC Desire 400 or HTC Desire 510. In fact, the most representative of the three is the HTC Desire 510, since it incorporates precisely the characteristics of which Jack Tong has spoken: a relatively simple mobile, with ultra-fast 4G Internet connectivity and with an affordable price: 210 euros.
The HTC Desire 510 was officially presented during the month of August of this year 2014. We are talking about a smart phone that incorporates a screen of 4.7 inches with 854 x 480 pixel resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400/410 of four cores running at 1.2 GHz, 1 gigabyte of RAM, eight gigabytes of memory (expandable card microSD up to 128 GigaBytes), a five megapixel main camera and a battery with2,100 mAh capacity.
Regarding the future of the high-end HTC, at the moment everything indicates that the next flagship of this company will respond to the name of HTC Hima. The HTC Hima will be the successor to the HTC One M8, and extra-official notes information that this smartphone will be presented with a screen five inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with eight cores running at 1.5 / 2 GHz clock speed, 3 GigaBytes of RAM, a 20.7 megapixel main camera(It seems that there will be no sign of the Ultrapixel camera of the One M8), a battery with 2,840 mAh capacity and the Android operating system in its latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
It is expected that the new HTC entry-level phones will be officially presented at the beginning of next year 2015 (at that time we will know if their availability will also apply to the European market). The HTC Hima, for its part, can be presented on two dates that have not yet been confirmed: CES 2015, a technological event that takes place in January, or MWC 2015, another technological event that takes place during the month of March..
