Orange has included in its catalog offers one of the latest handsets that Taiwan's HTC introduced in February: the HTC One S. This terminal based on Google's Android can be obtained from zero euros as long as the client signs a stay with the operator and agrees to pay a fee each month, knowing that the higher it is, the lower the price to pay for the terminal.
In the first place, this HTC One S can be achieved by doing portability, making a migration or registering a new mobile line. Now, in all rates there will be a stay of 24 months with the operator and 18 months with the selected rate; in case of breach of either of the two, the operator will penalize the customer.
Thus, if you want to do a portability from a contract number of another operator to an Orange contract, the HTC One S will cost zero euros if you hire the Delfín 79 rate that includes a data and calls package (2,000 minutes per month and a GB of download at maximum speed). However, there are also more options, for example: you can also opt for the Delfín 59 rate (1,000 minutes a month in calls and 750 MB of data) with which the price of the terminal will be 20 euros.
If the rate is still expensive, there are also the Delfín 40 (500 minutes per month in calls and 500 MB of data), Delfín 30 (300 minutes in calls per month and 300 MB of data) or Delfín 20 (300 minutes per month from 18 hours to 8 hours and 200 MB in data). With the first one, the price of HTC One S will be 120 euros. With the second it goes up to 190 euros. While with the most affordable rate, the HTC smartphone will cost 230 euros.
Finally, Orange also offers the option of choosing the Ardilla 15 rate, with which only a 24-month stay is signed with the operator - leaving aside the permanence of the rate - although the price rises to 280 euros.
On the other hand, in case of wanting to do a portability from a prepaid number of another operator to a contract with Orange or, make a migration - a practice that takes place when an Orange prepaid customer wants to keep his mobile number but wants to switch to contract— the prices of the HTC One S are as follows: with all the Delfín rates, the price of the terminal will be 230 euros, while with the Ardilla 15 rate , the user must pay an amount of 280 euros.
A different case is the one encountered by the client when he wants to register a new number in Orange. In this case, the HTC One S will be priced quite high. To begin with, with the Delfín 79, 59, 40 and 30 rates, the cost to be paid will be 320 euros. While with the Delfín 20 and Ardilla 15 rates, the amount rises to 340 euros.
Technical characteristics
The HTC One S belongs to the new range of smart phones that the company has presented. This model has a 4.3-inch diagonal multi-touch screen and is equipped with a powerful dual-core processor with a working frequency of 1.5 GHz, which is accompanied by a GigaByte RAM memory. With what the operation of the terminal will be quite fluid.
On the other hand, the version of the operating system that is pre-installed on its internal memory is Android 4.0 —also known as Ice Cream Sandwich—. Of course, HTC has customized the user interface and has implemented the well-known HTC Sense in its most recent version: 4.0. On the other hand, its storage memory consists of 16 GigaBytes, but it cannot be increased with the use of memory cards; Internet-based solutions should be used.
Finally, in addition to having all kinds of connections (WiFi, 3G, DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth…), this HTC One S also has a powerful camera with an eight mega- pixel sensor capable of capturing video in high definition; more specifically in Full HD quality (1,080p) that can later be seen on a larger screen thanks to its connections.
