Much is being said in recent days about the next flagship of the Taiwanese brand HTC. Leaked photographs on the one hand, conceptual designs on the other… in any case, extra-official information that tries to shed some light on how the design of the successor to the current HTC One M8 will be. This time around, a new concept design puts us on the trail of what the new HTC One M9 and the new HTC One M9 Plus might look like.
But, unlike previous leaks, the person responsible for bringing this concept design to light has been Evan Blass ( @evleaks ) himself, who recently made the decision to retire after being responsible for some of the most important leaks of the mobile phone sector. Therefore, despite the fact that at all times we talk about images without official confirmation, many media agree that the HTC One M9 (or HTC Hima) could present many similarities with the terminal that appears in this design.
The most interesting thing about this concept design is that it is assumed that HTC will launch a larger version of its flagship. This version seems to respond to the name HTC One M9 Plus (or HTC Hima Ultra), and rumors that its technical specifications be a screen of 5.5 inches with resolution Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels), a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and 3 GigaBytes of RAM, in addition to the Android operating system in Android version 5.0 Lollipop. Furthermore, as rumored in recent weeks, theHTC One M9 Plus could also incorporate a digital fingerprint scanner.
In fact, nothing suggests that the differences between the HTC One M9 and the HTC One M9 Plus will go beyond the screen and the fingerprint reader. Of the HTC One M9 is expected to incorporate a display of five inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, a memory RAM of three Gigabytes, 32 Gigabytes of internal memory, a main chamber 20 megapixels, a front chamber 13 megapixels and the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop version of the Android operating system.
At the moment it is unknown if HTC will present the new HTC One M9 - along with its respective variant of HTC One M9 Plus - at MWC 2015. Recall that the Mobile World Congress 2015 is a technological event held in the city of Barcelona (Spain) between days 2 and 5 of March, and during this time the major brands of mobile phones usually take the opportunity to present their flagships face to the current year. HTC has confirmed that it will hold a presentation on March 1, so we can only wait until that date.
