Almost a month ago we gave you the first clues of a new mobile with which the Taiwanese HTC intends to join the ranks of the Windows Phone 7 Mango family. During these days, that device returns to the present, having found its name in a list of phones that equip or will equip Microsoft's system for smartphones. This list, published in Ocassional Gamers, also includes the Nokia 800, which we talked about a few days ago.
The reappearance of the HTC Omega, which is what the phone in question is called, does not come accompanied by news regarding what was already beginning to be known weeks ago. Therefore, we are left with that this device would have a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, distributed on a 3.8-inch touch panel.
In addition, it would be a phone compatible with the connection systems that we have become used to seeing in smart phones (3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB), as well as a fairly powerful processor.
Regarding this, the Taiwanese manufacturer would have overlooked the possibility of equipping the HTC Omega with a dual-core chip. On the contrary, it would be a single-core chip , although, yes, with a very remarkable speed of 1.5 GHz. Something is something, after all.
