The HTC Omega is no stranger. It is an advanced mobile that has been talked about for a few weeks. Some of its technical characteristics are known. However, so far no official image had appeared of what this new mobile from the Taiwanese company would look like and that it would equip Windows Phone Mango as an operating system. Now, thanks to the guys at PocketNow, the first official image has been leaked.
Next September 1, HTC has prepared a meeting in London where supposedly some of the next intentions of the manufacturer will be revealed. And one of those intentions could have the name of HTC Omega, a powerful mobile phone, which unlike the vast majority of mobiles from the Asian manufacturer, will put Google's Android aside to start its journey with Microsoft's Windows Phone.
So far it is known that its screen will have a size that would reach 3.8 inches diagonally and achieving a maximum resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. To this data it will be necessary to add that HTC Omega would equip a single-core processor although at a working frequency of 1.5 GHz.
Finally, it is also known that it will have two cameras. The main, which is in the back of the chassis - would have a maximum resolution of eight megapixels. However, nothing has been said of what resolution it would achieve in its video recording facet. Meanwhile, on the front of the chassis there will also be a webcam and it will be focused on making video calls. And this last piece of information could be about the future hegemony between Skype and Microsoft and the intentions of making the best-known application on the market in terms of video conferencing, fully integrated into Microsoft's icon system.
