The HTC Merge appears and disappears like the Guadiana. We first knew it as the HTC Lexicon; later, the prototype became known as the HTC Merge. And now, it is not even known. In principle, the HTC Merge was scheduled for launch today (as released in the United States, in order to be marketed in Europe and other markets ahead of the Christmas season). But finally, it has been known that the HTC Merge will be delayed.
Although the delay was known on the day it should have reached the stores, the absence of promotions by the operators (Verizon was going to be the first to offer it) already pissed off locals and strangers, so the delay was sung. The reason you have to wait to get the HTC Merge in your hands is none other than a touch-up in its hardware to add some extra feature. The one that attracts the most attention is the incorporation of the LTE connection, or what is the same, 4G.
Connectivity LTE (or Long Term Evolution) is the connection with WiMax one of the options which could decant the future of networks of high - speed data, hence it is popularly known as 4G. Precisely, it is said that this type of mobile Internet access will be one of those present in the iPhone 5, which will be able to navigate and transfer at a much higher speed than the current ADSL lines in Spain (which in many cases, are currently surpassed by 3.5G in HSDPA protocol).
The incorporation of the LTE connectivity we suppose that it will shoot the, in principle, economic cost of this HTC Merge (which initially could have been worth less than 150 euros). What we knew so far about this terminal is that it would have a full sliding keyboard, a 3.8-inch screen and a five-megapixel camera, as well as an 800 MHz processor.
