It seems that the online store Clove is strong in this of the firsts. We have already spoken on other occasions about the promotions that it is presenting to launch before anyone else some of the devices that we saw at the past Mobile World Congress 2011, to which we must now add the tablet that the Taiwanese HTC debuts in this market.
We refer to the HTC Flyer, the small device, with a seven-inch screen and that would come out with Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Android 2.4, which would be the same edition, but oriented to mobiles that were not Nexus), to be updated in the future to Android 3.0 Honeycomb (with native interface HTC Sense). As pointed out by the British shopping website, the ï »¿HTC Flyer will be available to ship from April, although it can already be pre-booked for no less than 600 pounds (almost 700 euros, at current rate).
It seems that it will be from mid-April when shipments of the HTC Flyer begin, although, remember, this data is limited to the United Kingdom. In any case, the information serves to guide when this small tablet could start to be sold in other countries. At the moment, there is no news about the day we will see the HTC Flyer in our country.
The fact that the tablet comes out with the version of Android for mobile phones, and not the one that Google has designed for this segment of devices, makes many specialists wonder if it is really worth paying that money for a device of these characteristics in a market that, in a few months, will be made up of a more competitive offer in terms of benefits and prices.
