The Taiwanese HTC continues in its quest to bring the latest update to the Google (Android) icon system to its Desire family of terminals. In the latter case, and as on previous occasions, the Asian company has spoken on its official Facebook page. It refers to one of its terminals to a public professional: HTC Desire Z.

Or in other words, it will not be necessary to connect the terminal to a computer, but the update is received and installed directly from the smartphone.
HTC says that Android Gingerbread may take a while to reach all users; it all depends on the operator used. However, the deadline is the end of July for everyone, free and subsidized terminals through a mobile operator, to receive the operating system update.
