Good news for HTC Desire HD owners. And it is that their terminals will be ready during next April to update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the latest version of Google's operating system for touch phones. Through a French telephone operator it has been known that the update of this model (characterized by a large 4.3-inch screen and a very robust body), is scheduled for the first fortnight of next month that is about to start. However, it is not yet confirmed that the process can be carried out simultaneously in other European markets.
Another point that has not been known about this points to the version of the platform that will reach the HTC Desire HD. b has already released up to edition 2.3.3. of Android, so, presumably, that is the one that could be installed in the terminal. However, it is not a data that we can certify, since the update process on other devices (such as the Samsung Galaxy S, through the official beta) has taken place from version 2.3.2 of Gingerbread.
The arrival of Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the HTC Desire HD for April would be the official celebration of the landing of this version, which for a few weeks now can be installed manually through a "cooked" ROM that some users are responsible for developing and share on the internet.
On the other hand, and as usual with the launches of the Taiwanese firm, the official Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the HTC Desire HD would come equipped with the native interface of the house, HTC Sense, which with this system improvement would present the edition 2.1 of the environment of icons and floating windows that gets so much applause among its users.
