It seems that the update of HTC Desire to Android Gingerbread is going well. Even so, it has not yet been revealed which applications will be left out of the resetting of the icon system of the Taiwanese manufacturer's terminal. What the company has made clear through a message on its Facebook wall is that the test phase is already underway.
And we remember, that one of the main reasons that the company hesitated to update this terminal was due to its problems with its memory and what the HTC Sense user interface occupies. After doubting it and saying that there would be a new version of the Google icons on HTC Desire, one of the less pleasant parts is that some applications would be left in the pipeline.
This same July, users with the first member of the Desire family could receive Android Gingerbread. In the first place, the terminals that have been acquired in the free market will go; some time later it will be the turn of the units that have been acquired through the subsidy of an operator. And it is that the operators need a little more time to personalize and introduce the changes that they consider convenient; furthermore, they are the ones who must commit to updating the mobiles they offer in their offer catalogs.
Finally, HTC once again indicates from its Facebook page, that in the next few days they will report more details on this matter and, it is hoped, that they will finally be able to give the detailed list of which applications will and which will not.
