HTC returns to the load with two new devices with which it wants to continue trying in an increasingly complicated market. They are the Desire 12 and Desire 12+, with a very similar design, a glossy finish and almost no frames. They also have an infinite screen and are governed by Android 8, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. At the moment prices and departure date are unknown, although they will be available in three different colors: black, silver or gold.
Infinite screen without the presence of frames
Of the two models, the HTC Desire 12 is the one with a smaller screen. The device has a 5.5-inch panel and HD + resolution. The most representative thing is that it uses an 18: 9 aspect ratio, which is becoming increasingly common in current mobiles. There is almost no presence of frames and we find slightly curved edges, which make it more comfortable to use. HTC has commented that the body of the Desire 12 incorporates an optimized glass with black acrylic surface. It is, therefore, a beautiful terminal with a fairly careful design.
Inside the new equipment there is room for a Mediatek MT6739 quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, accompanied by a 3 GB RAM. For the storage capacity you can choose between two versions, 16 or 32 GB of space. With regard to the photographic section, the HTC Desire 12 includes a single 13-megapixel sensor with f / 2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. For the front there is a 5 megapixel sensor with an aperture of f / 2.4.
The new Desire 12 is governed by the latest version of Google's mobile platform. We are talking about Android 8, a system that has a large number of functions and improves performance and battery optimization. At the connection level, the device offers a wide range of options: WiFi, LTE, NFC, GPS or microUSB 2.0. It also has a fingerprint reader located on its back.
At the moment there is no news about its price and availability in Spain. The company has commented that it will give all the details shortly. What we do know is that the HTC Desire 12 will go on sale in three colors: silver, gold or black. We will give you more information as soon as we have it.
