It seems we can forget about the HTC Hima Ace, which was originally expected to be the high-end smartphone to accompany the new HTC One M9 at launch. According to a new rumor, the Taiwanese company HTC may have canceled the development of the new HTC Hima Ace. But this cancellation would not stop there, since the leak also indicates that, in exchange for this cancellation, HTC has launched the development of a new smartphone with high-end features from the Desire line that goes by the name of HTC A55.
The HTC A55, whose final name is supposed to be something more commercial (HTC Desire __), will hit the market to accompany smartphones like the HTC Desire 620 or the HTC Desire 320. The notes filtration are talking about a mobile that will be presented with a screen of 5.5 inches whose resolution will reach 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, which curiously would be a screen size and superior resolution to five inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution that point to leaks related to the HTC One M9.
The HTC A55 will hide inside an eight-core MediaTek processor (model MT6795) that will operate at a clock speed of 2 GHz under 64-bit technology. The capacity of the RAM memory will be 3 GigaBytes, while the internal storage space will reach 32 GigaBytes (expandable or not, yet to be known). The operating system installed at the factory, how could it be otherwise in the case of a mobile of these characteristics, will correspond to Android in the Android version 5.0 Lollipop (accompanied by the interfaceHTC Sense UI in HTC Sense UI version 7.0).
Filtration, distributed user upleaks of Twitter ( @upleaks ), also mentions that the HTC A55 incorporate a main chamber 20 megapixels with Flash LED and a front camera about which two options are considered: a conventional sensor 13 megapixels or a sensor Ultrapixel of four megapixels. All these features would remain powered by a battery with a capacity of less than 3,000 mAh (the leak does not indicate any specific figure).
As reported in this leak, it seems that the HTC A55 will be available in both Europe and Asia from this February (so that, in principle, its presentation could occur in a matter of days). The leak even indicates that this smartphone will arrive in three different housing colors: gray, gold and white. There is no mention of the price, although we can be sure that the starting price of the HTC A55 will not be too far from the HTC One M8, which once hit the stores with a label of approximately 700 euros.
