After many rumors about the phone that will replace the HTC One A9, more specific information about the technical characteristics of what will be the HTC 10 begins to leak. It is confirmed that the screen will be 5-inch SuperLCD ”“ it seems that HTC is going to abandon the AMOLED technology for its screens ”“, and the battery will be 3000 mAh. We found, then, an advance in the battery, which in its predecessor was 2800 mAh.
The design is very reminiscent of the HTC One A9. With that model and the new HTC 10, the Chinese company seems to have opted to permanently eliminate the Boomsound front speaker system in favor of a much cleaner and more attractive aesthetic for the consumer.
In the place of the speakers, right on the phone's start button, there is a fingerprint detection security system that uses the technology used so far in other company smartphones . On both sides of this sensor, the HTC 10 has two capacitive keys.
The back of the smartphone has a fairly minimalist design, although it has slanted edges to avoid falling into a style that users might consider too simple. For sure, the available colors will be white or black, both in metallic style.
Memory, cameras, and other details to be confirmed of the HTC 10
There are still few confirmed details about the processor and memory, but the HTC 10 could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable via external microSD card. The Snapdragon 820 processor can introduce performance improvements over the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 present in the HTC One A9.
Regarding the cameras, the front is expected to be 5 megapixels and the main one 12 megapixels with autofocus laser (although some rumors speak of a main camera of up to 20 megapixels). One of the features that many of the fans hope to find is the OIS image stabilization system in the two cameras, but at the moment it is not confirmed.
Another important detail is the operating system, since HTC seems interested in launching the smartphone with the most recent version of Android available on the market at the time of its release. The date is yet to be confirmed, but if the company follows the launch trend of previous years, we could expect an official announcement at an event in London next April (different dates are being considered, such as 11, 12 and 19), and the sale of the first terminals throughout the month of April or May.
Little is known about the price, although in principle the phone would be located in the high-end smartphone market and could range between 600 and 800 dollars in the US market, which could be translated in Spain by similar prices in euros (it is still an indicative price according to the different leaks and that has not been officially confirmed).
