With Huawei and Samsung preparing smartphones with almost no bezels on the screen, other companies are forced to join this party of leading panels. To do this, mobile phones are coming with a small hole in the front, where the secondary sensor would be located. It's what Samsung announced a few months ago as Infinity-O displays. The last manufacturer that we know that would join this trend is also Huawei's sub-brand, Honor. It would do it with its next flagship terminal Honor View 20 (also known as V20), which is said to have an even smaller hole diameter than that of the competition: 4.5 mm compared to the supposed 6 mm of its rivals.
Like Xiaomi's next smartphone to launch in January, the View 20 would also feature a 48-megapixel rear camera. Honor has even revealed that it would arrive powered by Sony's IMX586 CMOS sensor. This would result in brighter and brighter images, even in dark places. Honor has also confirmed that the View 20 would have "Link Turbo", a function powered by AI that would allow simultaneous downloading over Wi-Fi and 4G networks to obtain maximum performance. This would also allow the phone to conveniently switch from WiFi to 4G when the former got slow, rather than getting stuck there.
Beyond the main camera, we know little about the internal features of this terminal. Everything indicates that the View 20 would be a team with a design very similar to the current Honor 8X and 8X Max. Regarding the hardware, it is very likely that it will arrive with a specification sheet similar to the current Honor Magic 2. Therefore, it would have a Kirin 980 processor, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Likewise, it could incorporate the new NanoSD that Huawei launched several months ago and that occupies one of the entrances for devices with Dual SIM system.
The Honor View 20 would be unveiled on January 22 at an event in Paris, so there are only a few weeks left to know all its details. We will give you all the information as appropriate.
