2017 was the year of the notched phones. This year the prominence has been taken by mobile phones with a sliding mechanism, such as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. 2019, on the other hand, will be the year of mobile phones with an on-screen camera. The Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Huawei Nova 4 will be the first two smartphones to have such technology. Now it seems that Honor, the Huawei-owned company, is also going to join this trend with a new device that will be launched in early 2019. This has been confirmed by a company employee through her Twitter account a few minutes ago.
New Honor mobile with on-screen camera, Honor View 20 in sight?
About a month ago Honor presented the Honor Magic 2, a mobile with a use of the front close to 100% and a sliding mechanism. The next launch of the company will be the Honor View 20, the renewal of the View 10 presented at the end of 2017.
As can be seen in the image published by @bhavis, an employee of Honor Global in Hong Kong, the company will present a new mobile with an on-screen camera on January 22, 2019. The presentation in question will take place in the French city of Paris at an hour yet to be confirmed. The chosen place, unlike the Honor Magic 2, reveals that the terminal will reach Spain, Europe and much of Latin America.
As for the characteristics of the supposed Honor View 20, hardly any data regarding its specifications is known. The only thing we can read in the aforementioned tweet is that its front camera will be able to capture images with "unimaginable" clarity. This makes us think that the camera sensor will have a high focal aperture, in addition to being accompanied by an assist sensor with laser technology to illuminate dark scenes. The rest of the specifications are expected to be identical to that of its brother, the Magic 2.

In summary, a Kirin 980 processor accompanied by 6 and 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 and 256 GB is what is expected of this new device from the Chinese brand. It is also expected to come with a fingerprint sensor on the screen and a battery around 4,000 mAh with Huawei's proprietary fast charge.
