Honor has announced a new version of the Honor Play, a device announced last June with 4 or 6 GB and 64 GB of storage. The device will also be available from now with 6 GB and 128 GB of space. The best thing is that, as the company has reported, it will not go up in price and will cost the same as the current 6 and 64 GB model, that is, about 320 euros at the current exchange rate. This new version will go on sale starting tomorrow August 14 in online stores such as Vmall.
The Honor Play stood out during its presentation for including a new technology from the manufacturer, a modification of the system to further enhance the included processor, which in this case is a Kirin 970. According to the company, this modification allows to improve the performance of the device by up to 60%, saving 30% energy, something that is always appreciated. At first glance, the Honor Play is a device made of aluminum, with a front in which there is a notchor notch to house sensors, such as the front camera. In any case, the frames are quite small with a screen ratio of 19: 9. The size of this is 6.3 inches with a FullHD + resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels. On the back we also find a fingerprint reader to reinforce security or make payments.
On a photographic level, the Honor Play with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of space also has a double sensor of 16 and 2 megapixels (supported by artificial intelligence). The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels, so we can enjoy a very good quality for selfies. This model also has a 3,750 mAh battery with fast charging, as well as Android 8.1 Oreo system under EMUI 8.2. There is also 7.1 sound and immersive 3D sound for games.
Therefore, from now on we are going to find the following versions of the Honor Play:
- Honor Play with 4 GB / 64 GB: 260 euros to change
- Honor Play with 6 GB / 64GB: 320 euros to change (we do not know if this version will be suppressed with the arrival of the new one)
- Honor Play with 6 GB / 128 GB: 320 euros to change
- Honor Play Special Edition in red and black with 6 GB / 64GB: 330 euros to change
