There are several aspects that stand out in this new Honor Play 3. First of all, its price: for now it will be sold in China, waiting for its jump in the rest of the countries, at a fairly tight price taking into account its specifications: 1,000 yuan which, at the exchange rate, translates to less than 130 euros; second: it would be the first mobile to hit the market with a 48 megapixel camera in this price range; and, finally, its design and power, since we would have an (almost) infinite screen and an acceleration mode for video games. What else does the new Honor Play 3 offer?
This new model offers a renewal of what the brand has come to call 'Scary Technology 2.0', a technology developed by the brand to optimize the equipment in relation to games. This technology consists of 39 modifications of the kernel kernel practiced by the Research and Development R&D department in addition to 46 new patents. The new Honor Play 3 can increase application launch speed by 76% and system fluency by 57%. This is achieved through intelligent scheduling of resources that run in the foreground, creating an improved user experience on the Android system.
We now go to the aesthetic part of the terminal. We have a 6.39-inch screen that occupies 90% of the total panel, in a body that is 8.1 millimeters thick and a small opening between the rear and front panel of 4.5 millimeters. On the back we find the triple photographic sensor whose main lens offers no less than 48 megapixels plus an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (covering an angle of 120 degrees) and a third depth sensor to offer a better 2-megapixel portrait mode.
Inside we will find a Kirin 710 processor, the first processor manufactured by the Huawei brand to incorporate a neural processing unit, that is, the Honor Play 3 will have Artificial Intelligence for image processing and video game optimization. It is an 8-core processor with a maximum speed of 2.2 GHz. It also has a 4,000 mAh battery.
