Thinking of buying the Honor 9X? You may want to look at the new variant that the Huawei sub-brand has presented. It is the Honor 9X Pro, a slightly more powerful version. Is it worth it compared to the 9x?
The Honor 9X and 9X Pro are very very similar. There are hardly any differences between the two. The Pro model is somewhat more powerful, since it has a configuration of 8 GB of RAM and two versions of 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. While the normal model has a version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. Both have the same processor, an eight-core Kirin 980, which also has artificial intelligence and GPU Turbo 3.0, a software modification for a greater gaming experience: it optimizes the system so that we can play more fluidly and we saves autonomy.
In the photographic section we also find some difference. The Honor 9X Pro has a triple main camera, one more sensor than the base version, although in Spain the normal variant also has a triple camera. The primary lens has a resolution of 48 megapixels with an f / 1.8 aperture. The second camera is an ultra wide angle lens with a resolution of 16 megapixels. It also has a 2 megapixel depth of field sensor, which will allow us to take photos with a blur effect.
The front camera is 16 megapixels, it is a 'Pop-up' sensor. That is, it is hidden in the upper frame to be able to have a screen with hardly any frames. This module is automatically lifted every time the terminal detects that we want to open the camera. For example, to take a selfie or a video call.

Price and availability
The Honor 9X will go on sale soon in Europe at a price of 250 euros. In Spain, the 9X is sold at a higher price, since the characteristics are very similar, although it has a somewhat lower RAM configuration. Is the 9X worth it over the Pro model? Depending on the use you are going to give it. If you want to take advantage of the terminal for games, it is better to go for the Pro option, which has a more powerful RAM and storage configuration. If you are concerned about the photographic section, perhaps with the base model that is currently sold you have more than enough.
