It is not the first time that we talk about rumors about the Honor 7, which will become the new flagship of Honor -the European company created under the aegis of Huawei -. But, this time, a new leak has finally clarified the matter: the Honor 7 could be presented in the form of two variants, one of them with higher-end technical specifications than those of the other variant. These two variants of the new Honor 7 would share some characteristics in common (the size of the screen, the camera and even the design), and would mainly differ by the technical specifications at the performance level.
The variant higher end of the new Honor 7 would be fed to a processor HISILICON Kirin 935 which would be accompanied by a memory RAM of 4 gigabytes and internal storage capacity of 64 gigabytes, while the most economical variant incorporate the same processor accompanied by a RAM of 3 GigaBytes and an internal memory of 16 GigaBytes. The processor would correspond to a version similar to that of the Huawei P8 processor, while for the storage part we can not confirm yet whether a slot for external memory cards will be included. In addition, as they point out from GizmoChina.com , it is not confirmed that these two variants will incorporate the fingerprint reader.
But these two versions of the Honor 7 would also share other characteristics. In addition to the design based on a metal casing, both variants come with a screen five inches to reach a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The main chamber would be 13 megapixel camera (with optical image stabilizer), while the battery in both cases seems to be around 3,280 mAh capacity. The operating system would be accompanied by a layer of customization from Huawei, and would correspond to Android in some of the most recent versions of Lollipop.
The official presentation of these two versions of the new Honor 7 could take place during the month of July, and presumably in both cases we are talking about smartphones that will probably also reach the European market. To give us an idea of the approximate starting price that we can expect from these variants, we only have to remember that the current Honor 6 can be purchased today for a price of around 300 euros.
And what about the Honor 7 Plus, the successor to the Honor 6 Plus that is already available in Spain for 400 euros ? It seems that Honor also has something interesting prepared for this new terminal, and it is rumored that its presentation will not take place until September so that the brand has enough time to incorporate the new HiSilicon Kirin 950 processors. If this information is true, in the coming weeks we will probably learn more about the features of the new Honor 7 Plus.
